Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Amber Health Care is a rapidly growing primary care practice dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered healthcare to our community. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. What You'll Do Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as ordered Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens Conduct point-of-care testing (strep, flu, COVID-19, urinalysis, glucose, pregnancy testing, etc.) Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies while following infection control standards Support quality improvement initiatives and provide outstanding customer service Qualifications Current Maryland Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Current CPR/BLS certification Minimum one year of outpatient or primary care experience preferred Experience with phlebotomy and injections preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment EMR experience preferred We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment Monday-Friday schedule with work-life balance If you are looking to make a meaningful impact in your community while growing your career with an expanding healthcare practice, we'd love to hear from you.
