Key Qualifications:

Active LPN or LVN license in Michigan required Prior experience working in schools or pediatric settings highly desired Demonstrated expertise with tracheostomy care and airway management Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and families Patient, nurturing approach appropriate for early childhood needs Strong documentation skills and attention to detail CPR certification

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver one-on-one nursing care to an early childhood student during school hours Safely manage trach care, including suctioning and emergency interventions as necessary Monitor and document the students health status and communicate any changes to school staff and family Assist with other health-related needs throughout the school day (medication administration, feeding, mobility support) Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other professionals to support the students inclusion and safety Uphold school health policies and ensure a nurturing, secure environment In this part-time role, youll work approximately four hours per day, five days a week, making your schedule ideal for those seeking greater work-life balance while still making a meaningful impact.
