This part-time, contract role is designed for compassionate professionals ready to make a positive impact while working just four hours each day, Monday through Friday. You'll be an essential presence for a student who requires expert, attentive care, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day. Your role will focus on delivering tailored healthcare support, leveraging your skills and experience to make school a safe, supportive environment for your student.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active LPN or LVN license in the state Recent experience working in a pediatric, school, or similar setting Must have direct experience caring for individuals with tracheostomies Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in medical situations Demonstrated professionalism, strong communication, and a nurturing approach Current CPR certification

Core Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one nursing care for an Early Childhood student throughout the school day Monitor and manage the students tracheostomy, including suctioning and emergency intervention as needed Administer routine and emergency medications per physician orders Communicate regularly with school staff and students family to coordinate care Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and students health status Support the students participation in classroom activities and ensure accessibility This contract position offers the balance of consistent part-time hours with the rewarding experience of supporting an individual students growth, inclusion, and well-being in their educational journey.
