Inpatient Unit Position Status:

Part-time (.3 fte)

Position Overview:

This position is designed for an LPN who is actively enrolled in an RN education program, or will be enrolled in RN school within the year, and wishes to develop hospital inpatient experience while progressing toward RN practice. RiverView will make reasonable efforts to coordinate scheduled hours around academic and clinical obligations while maintaining the employee's .3 FTE commitment, weekend rotation, competency requirements, and the operational needs of the inpatient unit. Qualifications Minimum(s): Current State of Minnesota LPN license is required Current American Heart BLS certification. If not currently certified, training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months of date of hire Preferred(s): 1+ year(s) of Medical-Surgical experience
