Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This role requires strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient well-being, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician. Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients. Provide wound care and perform basic medical procedures such as tube feeding and phlebotomy. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management, including health coaching techniques. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in critical care transport when necessary, ensuring patient safety during transfers. Skills Proficiency in patient care techniques, with experience in areas such as ICU or hospital medicine preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Experience in ophthalmology is beneficial but not required. Competence in performing phlebotomy and other clinical procedures. Knowledge of critical care transport protocols is advantageous.
