Job Description

Amite County Medical Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to work on a full-time basis. Applicants must have a current Mississippi license as a practical nurse, a minimum of at least one year of related work experience and phlebotomy training. Responsibilities will include collecting vital signs and preparing patients to see the providers; assisting providers during patient visits; collecting blood for testing; and providing patient education about their health status and tracking referrals. Applicants must also have a willingness to work with the public in a pleasant manner and have the willingness to travel to both clinic locations. Experience in electronic medical records system and x-ray or willingness to learn and be helpful. Amite County Medical Services, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
