Macon Primary Care Clinic is looking for

Part-Time/ PRN LPN or RN Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Perform vital signs and intake for triage. 2. Elicit a brief history on patient. 3. Perform diagnostic tests and routine lab. 4. Administer medications, collecting specimens as ordered. 5. Perform scheduling/referrals as needed. 6. Complete documentation on patient visit and any necessary information in the Electronic Health Record. 7. Perform patient education as appropriate through the Electronic Health Record. 8. Maintain clean and well stocked clinical areas. 9. Maintain clinical proficiencies. 10. Answer phones and return voice messages in a timely manner. 11. Maintain copies of immunizations administered in the State Registry MIXX 12. Assists physician/nurse practitioner and provides logistics support as needed or requested. 13. Keep updated as instructed by physician/nurse practitioner on insurance related issues. 14. Follow the established policies of the Noxubee Medical Complex at all times. 15. Demonstrate the mission/vision of the Noxubee Medical Complex during work activities. 16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

General knowledge of nursing and health care terminology. Excellent patient care skills.

Education and Experience:

Postsecondary certificate from vocational school or Associates degree in nursing required. Current state licensure required
