Health Suite:
assigned to a designated school site where you will triage and treat student that come into the health suite. (Typically RN)
Private Duty:
work 1:1 with a medically fragile student and accompany them all throughout the school day, providing care in accordance with their care plan. Riding the school bus with the student may also be required depending on the student's needs. (Typically LPN) We will do our best to place you on a case of your preference, but assignment availability may vary district-by-district.
Scheduling Full-Time:
30-35 hours per week (Typical hours: 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm)
Part-Time:
20-25 hours per week PRN /
Standby:
Begin onboarding immediately and be first in line when school nursing placements open. We want to ensure that all students needing services receive them as soon as possible, so all positions are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. If a position is not immediately available upon hire, you may remain in a PRN capacity until a spot becomes available. If you have flexibility with a start date, we recommend starting onboarding early so you can jump right in when an opportunity opens up!
Support & Training Administrative Support:
our Staffing Consultants are the primary contact and coordinators for all nurses and day-to-day operations
Clinical Supervision:
all providers work under the supervision of a RoHealth Clinical Supervisor who leads trainings, orientations, and provides in person or telephonic field support
Providers Skills Training:
all providers are required to attend a standardized RoHealth Provider Skill Training, led by the Clinical Supervisor, prior to starting any case. The training is approximately 5-hours in duration and covers content such as diabetic management, seizure precaution, g-tubes, urinary catheters, tracheostomy care, med administration, and more!
Orientations:
on the first day of starting a new assignment, the Clinical Supervisor will accompany nurses on their assignment to help orient and familiarize them with the specifics of their assignment. Additional orientations can be provided on a need be basis. 24/7/365

You can give our office line a call ANY day at ANY time! If the primary staff are unavailable to take your call, you will still be connected with a RoHealth representative who can take your message and ensure it reaches the right person! Onboarding and Getting Started The RoHealth onboarding process can take between 1-2 weeks to complete all credentialing requirements. Our credentialing team works to ensure that your are cleared and in compliance with RoHealth, the State, and the Joint Commission! Districts may have additional clearance requirements which can vary in length; this is completed post-hire.
