If so, this job opportunity might be for you: We are seeking to add an Admission Nurse (RN or LPN) to our team! The Admission Nurse serves as the primary clinical contact for new residents entering our facility. This role is responsible for coordinating the admission process, completing assessments, ensuring accurate documentation, and helping residents and families transition smoothly into their new care environment. Responsibilities and Purpose Complete admission assessments and gather clinical information necessary for resident care. Review hospital records, physician orders, medications, and documentation to ensure a smooth transition into the facility. Process admission paperwork and communicate with residents, families, physicians, hospitals, and referral sources. Ensure physician orders are accurately entered and implemented. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to initiate care plans and coordinate resident care. Perform nursing assessments, obtain vital signs, and monitor newly admitted residents. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies. Observe residents, document significant changes in condition, and notify appropriate parties as needed. Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, injections, specimen collection, and other nursing interventions. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all applicable regulations. Serve as a floor nurse and provide resident care when not actively managing admissions. Required Experience and Education Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License OR Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License. Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care environment. Benefits We offer competitive pay relative to experience.
