Role Overview:

This position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) providing specialized outpatient pediatric allergy care in a team-oriented environment. The role involves supporting healthcare providers, assisting with diagnostic procedures, managing patient care, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations. Assist providers with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Administer medications and vaccines, including skin testing, under provider supervision. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment, ensuring asepsis and readiness of exam rooms. Communicate effectively with patients and providers, prioritizing and responding to patient needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required). Ability to provide care for patients within specific age ranges. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
