Preferred Qualifications:

Current LPN or RN license, valid in Wisconsin Experience working in a school or pediatric environment Strong assessment, triage, and first-aid skills Excellent communication abilities to interact with students, parents, and staff Capability to work autonomously and prioritize needs in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with creating and following care plans, including medication administration and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care to students for injuries, illnesses, and chronic health conditions Administer prescribed medications and treatments following physician orders and policies Maintain accurate and confidential student health records Promote a healthy and safe environment through health education, collaboration, and preventative care Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and provide crisis intervention when needed Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to coordinate individualized health plans and special accommodations Support school attendance initiatives by helping minimize health-related absences This position offers the unique opportunity to build relationships with students and school staff while contributing to a positive and supportive school culture.
