We are pleased to be hiring a full LPN staff at Harmony Ridge Recovery Center's inpatient detox and residential facility in Barboursville, WV. We are excited to help serve the local community and want to build our staff with compassionate and dedicated people who have a knack for helping those that struggle with substance use disorder. The job requires and active LPN license. See below for a portion of the job description: 1. Completes the following documentation within 24 hours of the patient's admission to the program Admission Note Nursing Assessment Pre-Screen Testing HRS Consent Form Patient Health Examination Criteria for Admission Form (if Detox admit) 2. Transcribes Physician's Orders and Implement all Medical Protocols as ordered 3. Administers medications and monitoring. 4. Attends and participate in all "in-service" functions 5. Assists with emergency situations and make immediate referrals 6. Provides documentation which reflects services for each patient in accordance with licensure standards 7. Maintains the Confidential nature of all patients and facility activities 8. Maintains required Training & Continuing Education 9. Maintains Standards of Ethical Conduct. 10. Facilitates medication education for new patients and for all other patients starting new medications 11. Takes verbal orders from the Medical Director, documents them in the patient's record and carries them out accurately and professionally. 12. Provides routine nursing care under the supervision of the Medical Director 13. Participate in regular department meetings and staff meetings. 14. Encourage efficient utilization of supplies and equipment to prevent waste. 15. Maintains effective communication between outside medical services and the facility 16. Interacts with clients with compassion and respect. 17.

Functions well as a team member and contribute positively to the morale of staff 19. Performs additional duties, as deemed necessary by supervisor 20. Maintains up-to-date training in CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, Infection Control, Fire Safety, and other areas mandated by organizational policies 21. Communicates effectively with other staff members and demonstrates the ability to work as a team member 22. Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, responding positively to changing situations in the work setting 23. Demonstrates objectivity and maturity under stress 24. Addresses problems noted by supervisor 25. Performs other assignments as requested by supervisor 26. Demonstrates willingness to accept responsibility 27. Completes all tasks with concern for work quality 28. Being sensitive to Cultural Issues of a patient based on their job position 29. Reporting Suicidality/Homicide of a patient based on their job position.
