Licensed Cosmetic Facial Acupuncturist + Massage Therapist Pasadena, CA | Part-Time with Opportunity for Growth Artemisia Acupuncture + Apothecary is seeking a warm, skilled, and detail-oriented California Licensed Acupuncturist who is also a licensed Massage Therapist to join our collaborative wellness team. This role is centered on cosmetic facial acupuncture, microneedling and massage therapy , blending evidence-informed acupuncture with therapeutic massage and holistic wellness to help patients look and feel their best. The ideal candidate has a passion for natural aesthetics, enjoys creating luxurious patient experiences, and believes beauty begins with whole-body health. About Artemisia Artemisia is a specialized acupuncture clinic and apothecary dedicated to thoughtful, personalized care. We specialize in women's health, pelvic health, pain management, digestive disorders, autoimmune conditions, and integrative wellness. Our cosmetic acupuncture program reflects the same philosophy, supporting healthy aging from the inside out with treatments that nourish both the body and nervous system. What You'll Do Provide cosmetic facial acupuncture treatments and microneedling Incorporate facial and body massage, gua sha, cupping, LLLT or other manual therapies where appropriate Use premium TCM inspired products to curate plans for patients (OMAD and TOMA Skin Therapy) Perform therapeutic massage sessions as part of comprehensive treatment plans Develop individualized treatment plans addressing both cosmetic concerns and underlying health patterns Educate patients on lifestyle, skincare, nutrition, and wellness strategies that support healthy aging Maintain thorough, timely charting and documentation Collaborate with our team to provide exceptional patient care Contribute to a welcoming, calming, luxury patient experience Qualifications Required Current California Acupuncture License Current California Massage Therapy License Professional liability insurance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and professionalism Experience working as a cosmetic facial acupuncturist Experience working as a massage therapist Training in facial gua sha, facial cupping, or sculpting massage Passion for holistic health and natural aesthetics Preferred Herbal medicine knowledge 2+ years of experience Who You Are You are someone who: Loves helping people feel confident in their skin Creates a calm, nurturing treatment environment Enjoys building long-term relationships with patients Values continuing education and refining your craft Works independently while thriving as part of a collaborative team Believes that true beauty reflects overall health and vitality What We Offer Beautiful, fully furnished treatment rooms Established, respected clinic with excellent community reputation Administrative and scheduling support Online booking and marketing support Collaborative, supportive team culture Opportunity to build a thrivingpatient following within an established clinic doing what you love Employee discounts on treatments, herbs and wellness products Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education 401k PTO and sick days Schedule Part-time to start, with the opportunity to expand as your schedule fills.
