Duties Deliver professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, including evaluating physiology and anatomy factors that influence treatment plans Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and tailor therapies for optimal results Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical information using appropriate medical terminology Ensure client comfort and safety throughout each session by adhering to proper hygiene standards and safety protocols such as CPR certification requirements Educate clients on self-care practices and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness outside of sessions Stay current with industry best practices and expand expertise in areas like pain management, sports therapy, and prenatal massage techniques Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Demonstrated proficiency in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy essential for effective patient assessment and treatment planning Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service and understanding individual needs Experience in pain management techniques and patient care strategies preferred Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and healthcare settings Join our team where your skills will be valued, your growth supported, and your passion for helping others realized.
