Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to develop personalized treatment plans that optimize results. Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment options, progress, and post-session care instructions to ensure a positive experience. Maintain accurate records of each session, including client history, treatment details, and progress notes in compliance with privacy standards. Promote client safety by adhering to proper sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean treatment environment. Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education to enhance your skills in medical terminology, pain management techniques, and new massage modalities. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally. Proven experience delivering a wide range of massage therapies such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to therapeutic massage practices. Prior experience working in medical spas or wellness clinics is highly desirable. Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and explain treatments effectively. Knowledge of medical terminology related to pain management and rehabilitation processes. CPR certification is required for safety compliance; additional certifications in specialized modalities or occupational health are a plus. (Space, table, towels, sheets, laundry, electric etc.) You are essentially your own boss. We are a busy office and looking for a motivated person. You keep what you make and just pay for the space.
