Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safe, effective therapy sessions. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments to enhance ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment details, adhering to confidentiality standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by following sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment. Communicate clearly with clients about their comfort levels, treatment expectations, and health concerns using professional terminology. Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements to uphold licensure standards. Skills Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills that foster trust and rapport. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Expertise in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop tailored treatment plans. Knowledge of CPR certification and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Effective client communication skills to explain procedures clearly and address individual concerns professionally. Experience working in a spa settings or similar environments is preferred for a seamless integration into our team.
