Duties Perform a variety of massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to each client's needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate therapy plans and ensure safe practice Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment options, and provide personalized care Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical information using proper medical terminology Educate clients on self-care techniques and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness outside the treatment room Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes and support holistic health approaches Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy Proven experience in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service and patient satisfaction Ability to perform patient assessments confidently while maintaining professionalism and empathy Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and occupational health is preferred CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all treatments Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference!
