Compensation and Status:
Commission Based 1099 Independent Contractor Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to: Meeting with clients and reviewing their individual needs and medical history Analyzing clients sore muscle areas and identifying solutions to correct their problems. Using the hands, arms and fingers to relieve areas of stress and pain Providing clients with information about how they can care for their muscles daily Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries, or wellness maintenance. Administer therapy treatments to clients using hands or physical treatment aids. Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body. Administer therapy treatments to clients using hands or physical treatment aids. Maintain treatment records. Maintain medical records. Assess clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion. Assess physical conditions of clients to aid in diagnosis or treatment. Provide clients with guidance and information about techniques for postural improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation, and rehabilitative exercises. Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used. Prepare and blend oils and apply the blends to clients' skin. Job Requirements include the following, but are not limited to: Conduct the day-to-day operations of the spa in a business-like, ethical and professional manner. Strive to exceed customer service expectations of members, guests and associates. Maintain good working relationship with club members, employees and all customers. Possess effective oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information. Utilize a clear speaking voice in the English language. Dress appropriately for position; professional manner and well groomed. Establish and maintain a clean and professional workspace. Demonstrate record of good work attendance and reliability; regular and punctual in attendance. Demonstrate flexibility in work habits and work schedule Use time effectively; complete work in a timely manner. Comply with company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Handbook or as demonstrated as common practice. Seek to improve self in knowledge and skills.
