Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure effective pain management. Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-session advice for continued wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all health regulations and sanitation protocols. Stay informed about the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or occupational health teams when necessary to optimize patient outcomes. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist with demonstrated proficiency in massage therapy practices. Experience with various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage. Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and provide compassionate care.
