Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of tension or discomfort. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed treatment records, including patient progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with privacy standards. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. Stay current with industry best practices and expand your skills through ongoing education, including med spa techniques if applicable. Qualifications Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by local regulations. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage modalities such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
