Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct comprehensive client assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and relaxation. Maintain detailed treatment records, including client progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, answer questions, and tailor treatments to meet their needs. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Uphold the highest standards of patient service, safety protocols including CPR certification, and hygiene practices at all times. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Demonstrated experience in massage therapy, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments. Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and deliver effective treatments. Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and empathetically. Familiarity with pain management techniques and occupational health considerations. Ability to perform massages safely while adhering to all health regulations and sanitation standards. CPR certification is required; additional certifications in medical terminology or specialized therapies are a plus. Pay:
