Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their health history, pain points, and treatment goals Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment procedures, gather feedback, and adjust techniques accordingly Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and proper draping procedures Stay updated on the latest massage therapy practices, anatomy knowledge, physiology concepts, and medical terminology relevant to client care Promote additional wellness services and educate clients on self-care techniques for pain management and overall health Requirements Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state or local regulations Proven experience in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to pain management and client assessment CPR certification is required for emergency preparedness Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients Prior experience in med spa settings or healthcare environments is preferred but not mandatory Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed Join us if you're dedicated to providing outstanding patient service through expert massage techniques!
