Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time. Ensure all massage services adhere to safety standards, hygiene protocols, and licensing regulations. Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, pain management, and medical terminology to enhance treatment quality. Promote a welcoming environment that emphasizes customer service excellence and client satisfaction. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and communicate effectively with clients about their needs and treatment options. CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all sessions. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
