Compensation & Sign-On Bonus Base Pay:
$50.00 per hands-on massage hour.
Sign-On Bonus:
We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus distributed directly to you throughout your onboarding and early tenure. The payout structure is organized as follows: Week 1: $250.00 initial payout during your first week of employment. Day 30: $250.00 milestone payout. Day 60: $250.00 milestone payout. Day 90: $250.00 final milestone payout. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safe practices. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment options, and provide guidance on post-session care. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes and client progress. Ensure a clean, comfortable treatment environment adhering to health and safety standards. Stay updated on the latest massage therapy techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education. Promote client satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships. Experience Active Massachusetts massage license and insurance. Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Knowledge of various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Prior experience in med spa or clinical settings is highly desirable. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required to ensure client safety during treatments. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and assess their needs accurately. Experience managing pain or injury recovery through targeted massage techniques is a plus. Familiarity with patient assessment procedures and client communication strategies to enhance treatment outcomes.
