Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, patient progress, and relevant medical information using appropriate medical terminology. Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR certification and proper hygiene standards to ensure client safety and well-being. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments or referrals as needed for pain management or injury recovery. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and provide the highest quality care. Skills Exceptional patient service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and client communication. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient conditions and tailor massage techniques accordingly. Experience with trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, Swedish massage, and other therapeutic modalities. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and occupational health practices. Proven ability in pain management strategies through effective massage techniques. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a med spa or healthcare setting. Pay:
