Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology, anatomy knowledge, and client communication. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices for pain management and injury prevention. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment notes, adhering to medical terminology standards. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by following proper sanitation procedures and maintaining compliance with licensing regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment options, and foster a positive experience. Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing education related to massage therapy techniques, anatomy, physiology, and occupational health. Position is a 1099 Employment opportunity, so you're able to write off certain work expenditures Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification. Proven experience in providing various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy practices. Prior experience working in med spa or clinical settings is preferred. Familiarity with patient assessment techniques and pain management strategies Excellent client communication skills with the ability to tailor treatments based on individual needs and preferences.
