Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to provide various massage techniques tailored to meet individual client needs. This role requires a commitment to enhancing patient well-being through effective pain management and therapeutic practices in a professional environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and create personalized treatment plans. Perform various types of massage, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and other modalities as required. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific pain management issues effectively. Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa or clinical setting to provide comprehensive patient care. Educate clients on self-care techniques and wellness strategies to enhance their overall health. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to massage therapy. Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques and pain management strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology and occupational health practices. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and deliver exceptional patient service. Experience with trigger point therapy and other specialized massage techniques is preferred. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
