Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled independent contractor Licensed Massage Therapist to join our new business in the afternoons/evenings. Duties Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand symptoms, medical history, and specific pain points Educate clients on treatment plans, self-care routines, and lifestyle adjustments to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical terminology or observations Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including CPR certification requirements Communicate effectively with clients to build trust, address concerns, and enhance their overall experience Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize client outcomes Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in CPR and first aid Proven experience in massage therapy with a focus on physiology and anatomy knowledge Hands-on expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage. Strong understanding of pain management techniques and occupational health principles Prior experience working with diverse client populations in settings such as med spas or wellness clinics is preferred Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and recommend appropriate therapies Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy is advantageous Join us to help clients feel their best through expert touch and compassionate care!

Pay:

$40.00 - $60.00 per hour
