Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and develop customized treatment plans. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain detailed records of treatments administered and client progress in compliance with health regulations. Stay informed about the latest massage therapy practices and incorporate new techniques such as physiology knowledge and pain management strategies. Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are sanitized and maintained according to health standards. Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages relaxation and trust. Experience Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical terminology. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology essential for effective patient assessment and pain management. Prior experience working in med spa environments or occupational health settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with clients about treatment options and progress. Familiarity with client communication techniques that foster trust and satisfaction. Previous experience handling diverse client needs related to pain relief, injury recovery, or stress reduction is preferred.
