Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enhance treatment effectiveness and address specific client concerns. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes using medical terminology. Provide excellent patient service, ensuring clients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their experience. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings to support comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in pain management techniques to continuously improve service offerings. Qualifications Valid massage therapy license or certification from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience in a med spa environment is preferred but not required. Proficiency in various massage techniques, particularly deep tissue and trigger point therapy. Excellent communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining professional standards. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
