$13/hour for non-service hours + $23/hour for service hours + 100% of gratuity + 50% of enhancement revenue Job Summary Peace of Mind Spa is seeking a passionate, skilled, and professional Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team in Allen, TX. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall well-being. October 1, 2026 Specific hours will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on business needs and therapist availability. Duties & Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques, including: Swedish massage Deep tissue massage Therapeutic massage Prenatal massage Occupational health/therapeutic treatments Conduct thorough client consultations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment approaches Customize each session according to the client's needs, goals, and areas of concern Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and self-care strategies Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records and client notes Communicate effectively and professionally with clients to understand their goals and address concerns Create a comfortable, welcoming, and professional environment for every client Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized treatment area Follow all applicable health, safety, sanitation, and professional standards Maintain required certifications and credentials, including CPR Stay current with industry best practices, techniques, and developments in massage therapy and pain management Work collaboratively with the Peace of Mind Spa team to provide an exceptional overall client experience Qualifications Required Valid and active Texas Massage Therapist license Current CPR certification Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, dependable, and punctual Ability to assess client needs and customize treatments accordingly Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment Genuine passion for helping clients improve their health and well-being Preferred Experience with Swedish, deep tissue, Therapeutic, and prenatal massage Experience with therapeutic or occupational health treatments Experience working in a wellness, healthcare, spa, or massage therapy setting Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management and therapeutic practices Ability to confidently recommend appropriate enhancements and additional services when beneficial to the client What We're Looking For At Peace of Mind Spa , we are looking for someone who is more than just technically skilled. Interview Process Our hiring process includes three steps: 1. Phone Interview An initial conversation to discuss your experience, availability, qualifications, and interest in the position. 2. In-Person Interview A face-to-face meeting to get to know you better and discuss the position, expectations, and the Peace of Mind Spa work environment. 3. Practical Interview A hands-on practical interview to demonstrate your massage techniques, communication style, client interaction, and overall approach to treatment.
