Licensed Massage Therapist - Full-Time Position Zentmeyer Chiropractic | Martinsville, VA Job Overview Zentmeyer Chiropractic is seeking a passionate, skilled, and dependable Licensed Massage Therapist to join our healthcare team and take over an established massage schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for a massage therapist who wants a consistent, established schedule and patient base without having to worry about booking appointments, managing cancellations, providing equipment, or taking laundry home. Our office handles the administrative side so you can focus on your patients and providing high-quality massage therapy. As part of our chiropractic office, you will provide therapeutic massage services designed to promote pain relief, improved mobility, relaxation, and overall well-being. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside a chiropractor in a supportive healthcare environment focused on helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Established Weekly Schedule Monday-Thursday:

6 one-hour massages per day

Friday:

4 one-hour massages, finishing at 1:00 PM 28 massages per week Consistent 5-day workweek Established patient base and massage schedule Scheduling, appointment changes, and cancellations handled by Zentmeyer Chiropractic What We Provide Paid time off Paid holidays Established massage schedule and patient base Front-office scheduling and administrative support Massage table provided Sheets and linens provided Washer and dryer on-site Professional and established chiropractic office environment No need to build or manage your own schedule Duties and Responsibilities Perform therapeutic massage techniques based on individual patient needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and other appropriate massage techniques Assess each patient's concerns, areas of discomfort, preferences, and treatment goals Customize massage sessions according to individual patient needs and tolerance Communicate effectively with patients regarding their symptoms, concerns, and treatment Educate patients when appropriate regarding massage therapy, self-care, and wellness Maintain accurate and professional treatment notes and documentation Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and professional treatment environment Follow appropriate sanitation and safety procedures Work collaboratively with a chiropractor and other members of the office when appropriate to support comprehensive patient care Provide professional, compassionate care focused on pain relief, mobility, relaxation, and overall patient well-being Opportunity to See Your Own Clients We are also open to working out an arrangement that would allow the massage therapist to see their own private clients at our office during certain days or times when Zentmeyer Chiropractic is closed. This provides an opportunity for the right therapist to maintain or grow their own clientele while also benefiting from a consistent schedule through our office. Qualifications Current and valid Virginia Massage Therapist license Experience with therapeutic massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and trigger point therapy Ability to assess patient needs and tailor massage sessions accordingly Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, dependable, and punctual Comfortable working with patients experiencing musculoskeletal pain and discomfort Ability to work well as part of a healthcare team Previous experience in a chiropractic, medical, rehabilitation, or other healthcare setting is preferred but not required The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable, personable, and interested in becoming a long-term part of our office.
