Responsibilities Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and relaxation. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Foster excellent client communication by listening attentively, answering questions clearly, and ensuring a comfortable experience. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and physiologic health. Uphold the highest standards of patient service, safety protocols including CPR certification, and sanitation procedures in accordance with licensing requirements. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pain management strategies. Proficiency in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and occupational wellness. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and deliver personalized care. CPR certification is required; additional certifications in occupational health or med spa services are a plus. Prior experience working in a healthcare or med spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for ongoing learning is essential.
