Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address clients' specific needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and tailor treatments accordingly. Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and occupational health protocols. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and certifications to continually enhance your therapeutic skills. Skills Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to identify areas of tension or injury. Expertise in advanced massage modalities such as deep tissue therapy and trigger point therapy for effective pain management. Knowledge of occupational health practices to ensure safety for both clients and staff during treatments. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar environment is highly desirable.
