Bilingual Medical Assistant - Part-Time / PRN Arizona Premier Providers is seeking a dependable, professional, and friendly Bilingual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish) to assist our healthcare team during monthly clinic days in Yuma, Arizona . Arizona Premier Providers specializes in evaluating and managing patients who have sustained injuries following motor vehicle collisions and other personal injury incidents. We are expanding our services to the Yuma area and are looking for a Medical Assistant who can help us provide an organized, comfortable, and professional experience for our patients.

Position Details Location:

Yuma, AZ Schedule:

Approximately 1 clinic day per month to start, with potential for additional days as our Yuma location grows

Typical Hours:

Approximately 9:00 AM-7:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break

Compensation:

$200 per clinic day

Fluent English and Spanish required Responsibilities The Medical Assistant will work directly alongside our medical providers and assist with the flow of the clinic throughout the day.

Responsibilities may include:

Greeting and rooming patients Obtaining and documenting vital signs Assisting with basic patient intake Translating between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare providers when needed Helping patients understand basic instructions provided by the clinical team Preparing examination rooms between patients Maintaining an organized and clean clinical environment Assisting providers with basic clinical tasks within the Medical Assistant's training and scope Helping maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic day Providing professional and compassionate service to patients who have recently experienced motor vehicle collisions or other injuries Qualifications Medical Assistant experience or training preferred Must be fluent in both English and Spanish Comfortable communicating medical information accurately between Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers Experience obtaining vital signs and rooming patients Professional, dependable, and punctual Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a small, collaborative clinical environment Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements BLS certification preferred Previous experience in primary care, urgent care, orthopedics, pain management, or personal injury care is a plus but is not required About the Role This is a great opportunity for a Medical Assistant who already works part-time, is in school, has a flexible schedule, or is looking for occasional additional income. We are initially looking for assistance approximately one day per month , but there may be opportunities for additional hours or clinic days as our Yuma patient volume grows. We are looking for someone who is personable, reliable, comfortable working closely with patients, and interested in growing with our practice.
