The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical and administrative operations within our practice. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including assisting with phlebotomy, administering injections, managing prior authorizations, and supporting both front and back office functions. The Certified Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring efficient clinic operations and delivering a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Perform phlebotomy procedures accurately and safely to collect blood samples for testing. Assist healthcare providers with administering injections, including vaccines and other injectable medications. Manage prior authorization processes to facilitate timely insurance approvals for patient treatments and procedures. Support front office tasks such as patient check-in, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records. Assist back office functions including preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and handling clinical documentation. Provide excellent patient care by addressing patient questions and ensuring comfort during procedures. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and confidentiality protocols. Collaborate effectively with medical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program. Proven experience in clinical settings, including phlebotomy, injections, and administrative support preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare procedures, and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and team members. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and administrative tools is a plus.
