Job description We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our cardiology practice with clinics in Los Angeles and El Monte . This position will assist our healthcare staff in providing exceptional specialty care for a high volume of patients.

What You'll Do:

Assist physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing clinical and administrative duties under the direction of a physician Clinical duties may include measuring vital signs, performing EKGs, hooking up heart monitors, and performing medication reconciliations Administrative duties may include insurance eligibility verification, medical report transcription, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and other clerical duties Advanced clinical opportunities include work as a stress technician, EKG interpreter, patient liaison, and supervisor.

Qualifications:

One or more years of experience working as a Medical Assistant High school diploma or GED Proficiency with computers and EMR systems Strong verbal and written communication skills

MUST BILINGUAL IN SPANISH
