Job Description

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistants to join a team in multiple towns around Sparta area. As a Medical Assistant you'll be responsible for assisting the doctor, general office duties, i.e. answering phones, verifying insurance, etc.

Responsibilities:

Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion
Enter patient information in computer system
Implement, maintain and report on programs initiated by the practice
Perform data entry and administrative duties
Schedule appointments, answer basic patient questions & answer inbound calls

Qualifications:

High School diploma
Proof of medical assistant schooling completion. Medical License not required
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) (EHR)
Strong organizational skills
Deadline and detail-oriented

Job Type:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
