Job Description
We are currently seeking a Medical Assistants to join a team in multiple towns around Sparta area. As a Medical Assistant you'll be responsible for assisting the doctor, general office duties, i.e. answering phones, verifying insurance, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Perform posting charges and completion of claims to payers in a timely fashion
- Enter patient information in computer system
- Implement, maintain and report on programs initiated by the practice
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
- Schedule appointments, answer basic patient questions & answer inbound calls
Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Proof of medical assistant schooling completion. Medical License not required
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) (EHR)
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
