Job Summary A healthcare services organization in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, document medical histories, and gather chief complaints.
• Assist providers with exams, treatments, minor procedures, injections, EKGs, specimen collection, and phlebotomy as assigned.
• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, stock supplies, and maintain infection control standards.
• Update electronic medical records, verify patient information, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, answer calls, and support patient follow-up communications.
• Process referrals, prior authorizations, prescription requests, check-in, check-out, and payment processing as needed. Compensation and Benefits

• Pay:

  $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

• Job Type:

  Temp-to-Hire.

• Schedule:

  Full-time, Monday through Friday.
