Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. Your expertise will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative duties that ensure smooth clinic operations and outstanding patient experiences. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake processes, including recording vital signs and updating medical histories in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) procedures to support patient care needs Manage medical documentation accurately, including progress notes, ICD coding, and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support medical office management through scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining organized medical records Conduct patient assessments related to dermatology, internal medicine, geriatrics, or emergency medicine based on specialty needs Assist with laboratory procedures such as specimen collection and processing while adhering to safety protocols in inpatient or outpatient settings Skills Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding for precise documentation and billing Proven experience in medical office environments with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically across diverse populations Hands-on experience in dermatology clinics, urgent care centers, hospital medicine units—including Level I Trauma Centers—and PICU settings is highly desirable Skilled in clinical procedures such as vital signs measurement, intake assessments, medication administration, and phlebotomy Familiarity with hospital experience requirements including inpatient care protocols and Level II trauma center procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments like emergency medicine or internal medicine clinics while maintaining attention to detail Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through compassionate care and clinical excellence.
