We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy pediatric healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support our providers in delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced office setting. Office Hours:
Monday-Thursday:
9:15 AM-1:30 PM & 3:00 PM-7:00
PM Friday:
9:15 AM-3:00
PM Rotating Saturday:
9:15 AM-1:30 PM (Saturday rotation is required. Shifts will be scheduled within these office hours.) Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Prepare patients for well visits and sick visits, including routine screenings and in-house lab tests (e.g., flu, strep, COVID) Take and record vital signs (height, weight, temperature) and document patient history Perform diagnostic testing such as EKGs and spirometry when ordered Clean, stock, and maintain examination rooms to ensure readiness throughout the day Accurately document visits and procedures using our pediatric-friendly electronic medical record (EMR) system (Office Practicum) Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones and scheduling appointments Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior clinical experience preferred but not required; training will be provided Must be proficient with computers and able to work efficiently in a busy office Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Must be dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented Comfortable working with children and families Must work well independently and as part of a team Join our team to make a difference in patient care while advancing your career in the medical field.
