Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our pediatric healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support in delivering high-quality care to children, assisting healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on pediatric patients. Duties Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical flow. Take and record accurate vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure for pediatric patients. Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits. Provide compassionate care and support to children and their families, addressing questions and easing anxieties. Collect patient histories and document medical information accurately in electronic health records. Support administrative tasks such as managing patient records and preparing physical forms. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive pediatric care. Requirements Valid CNA certification or Medical Assistant training Ability to perform vital sign assessments accurately on children of various ages. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach toward young patients and their families. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care activities. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of healthcare safety standards and infection control procedures. Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
