This role performs patient intake, vitals, rooming, and assists providers with exams and minor procedures. You will obtain and process digital X-ray images, adhere to radiation safety standards, maintain exam rooms and equipment, and support pre- and post-op education. Responsibilities Perform patient intake, including medical history, vitals, and rooming for orthopedic visits Obtain and process high-quality digital X-ray images following radiation safety protocols Assist orthopedic providers with exams, minor procedures, and pre-/post-op care Prepare, stock, and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies Document accurately in the EHR, including orders, imaging, and patient education Support patient flow, scheduling, and coordination of orthopedic services Provide patient instructions related to imaging, procedures, and post-visit care Required Skills Orthopedic patient intake and assessment Vital signs measurement and documentation Digital X-ray positioning and imaging Radiation safety and compliance Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Sterile technique and exam room preparation Casting/splinting assistance Pre- and post-operative patient education Phlebotomy and specimen collection Medical terminology and insurance basics
