Cheyenne Medical Assistant

Entry-Level JobVerifiedNo experience needed

Job Description

We are a drug-free, surgery-free wellness clinic that helps people get their life back from chronic pain and neuropathy. Our patients come to us hurting and discouraged, and they leave feeling like themselves again. The person in this role is a big part of that. This is a hands-on medical assistant role where you spend most of your day with patients, not stuck behind a desk. You will be on the floor delivering therapies, encouraging people through their care, and watching them get better week by week. It is real, rewarding work with actual human connection. It is also a role with variety. No two days are the same. Alongside patient care, you will help with things like patient letters, backing up the front desk when it is busy, learning our nutrition and gut-health program to support patients, and even helping with clinic marketing behind the scenes. If you like a job where you are not doing the exact same thing every hour, this is that job. We are a well-run clinic with real systems and a team that trains you. Here's the honest truth about how we work: we teach you, we have someone to train you, and we give you the tools to succeed. But we are not a hold-your-hand-through-everything kind of place. Sometimes you will need to figure something out on your own first, using the tools and training we give you. If you genuinely can't, we jump in and help. We're looking for someone who tries first and asks second, not someone who needs every answer handed to them.
  • A note on growth, so we're straight with you:
  • This is a role we want you to settle into and do well for the next couple of years.
It's not a stepping-stone job. Over time, once you've truly mastered the position, there can be opportunities like learning our SoftWave new-patient work, which comes with extra bonus opportunity, and much further down the road, potentially a patient care and sales role. But those come later, after you've become genuinely great at this job first. What we need most is someone who wants to do this work, and do it well, for the long haul.
  • You might be exactly who we're looking for if you:
  • Genuinely care about people and love helping them feel better
  • Are dependable. People can count on you, and you take that seriously
  • Like variety and staying busy, and don't want the same routine every hour
  • Like things organized and done right, and take pride in following a process
  • Can stay calm and figure things out when no one's right there to ask
  • Are looking for a job you can settle into and do well for the next few years
  • Are comfortable on a computer and open to using helpful technology and AI tools (we'll show you)
  • What you'll do:
  • Care for patients by delivering the therapies on their treatment plans (we train all of it)
  • Learn and run our equipment safely, with full training and clear protocols
  • Encourage and educate patients, including our nutrition and gut-health program (we teach you this over your first 60 to 90 days)
  • Help with patient paperwork like doctor letters and discharge letters
  • Back up the front desk when it's busy (checking patients in and out, bringing them back to therapy)
  • Support clinic marketing and patient outreach behind the scenes
  • Keep your area clean, organized, and ready, the way a well-run clinic should be
  • The honest version of this job:
  • Most of your day is hands-on with patients, and the rest is a real mix of administrative and support work that keeps things interesting.
Everyone starts by learning. You'll master our equipment first, then grow into the nutrition, patient-education, and support side over your first three months. This is the job we need you to show up and do well, day in and day out. In return, we need someone dependable, warm with patients, and proud to do things right. Because we're a small, close team, you won't always have someone standing over your shoulder, and honestly, sometimes you'll need to work through a problem on your own before anyone can jump in. We train you well and give you the tools. We also need you to be the kind of person who reaches for those tools and figures things out, not someone who freezes and waits. If you like being trusted to own your work, you'll fit right in.
