Medical Records/Transportation Director

Medical Records Director and Transportation Scheduler Duties:
  • Oversee the management and organization of medical records in a medical office setting
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant guidelines
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Train and supervise staff members responsible for medical record management
  • Monitor the quality and accuracy of medical records, including proper documentation and coding
  • Maintain and Coordinate appointment and transporation schedule
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely access to patient information
  • Coordinate the release of medical records to authorized individuals or organizations
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of medical records at all times
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
  • Proficient in medical terminology, including knowledge of common diagnoses, procedures, and medications
  • Strong understanding of medical record management principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital recordkeeping tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals, staff members, and patients
