- Oversee the management and organization of medical records in a medical office setting
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant guidelines
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Train and supervise staff members responsible for medical record management
- Monitor the quality and accuracy of medical records, including proper documentation and coding
- Maintain and Coordinate appointment and transporation schedule
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely access to patient information
- Coordinate the release of medical records to authorized individuals or organizations
- Maintain confidentiality and security of medical records at all times
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Proficient in medical terminology, including knowledge of common diagnoses, procedures, and medications
- Strong understanding of medical record management principles and best practices
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital recordkeeping tools
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals, staff members, and patients
