Patient Care Coordinator/Office Manager

Our busy and patient focused Endodontic specialty practice in Lafayette, LA is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Patient Care Coordinator / Dental Office manger to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in dental insurance, billing, and patient coordination who enjoys providing exceptional client experience while helping patients navigate their treatment plans. Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide a positive check-in and check-out experience. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments. Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility. Process insurance claims, follow up on outstanding claims, and resolve billing issues. Prepare and present treatment plans, explaining recommended procedures and financial responsibilities. Manage insurance billing and accounts receivable. Perform aging reports and assist with collections as needed. Communicate professionally with patients, referring doctors, and insurance companies. Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations. Assist with other front office responsibilities and support the team as needed. Qualifications Previous dental billing and insurance experience is required. Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements with patients is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems. Strong communication and customer service skills. Comfortable working with numbers and processing financial information accurately. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and be cross-trained. Professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Commitment to maintaining OSHA and HIPAA compliance. Why Join Our Practice?
