Business Office Manager ensures the timely and accurate billing of each resident stay at the care community. Position Responsibilities of the
BOM:
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all resident financial accounts
Maintains knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, primary and third-party insurances
Responsible for billing and collections in a timely and accurate manner.
Collects resident resources/private pay room and board in accordance with HCF policy
Maintenance of resident trust account and daily census information
Works with residents, families and third parties in a professional manner
Collaborates with local medical assistance office to ensure accurate Medicaid eligibility
Makes bank deposits on a daily basis
Assists with the admission process
Participates in the QAPI process
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. College and/or accounting schooling preferred. Benefits of a
