Job Description
Position Summary:
Business Office Manager ensures the timely and accurate billing of each resident stay at the care community. Position Responsibilities of theBOM:
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all resident financial accounts
- Maintains knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, primary and third-party insurances
- Responsible for billing and collections in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collects resident resources/private pay room and board in accordance with HCF policy
- Maintenance of resident trust account and daily census information
- Works with residents, families and third parties in a professional manner
- Collaborates with local medical assistance office to ensure accurate Medicaid eligibility
- Makes bank deposits on a daily basis
- Assists with the admission process
- Participates in the QAPI process
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. College and/or accounting schooling preferred. Benefits of aBOM:
